THINGS TO NOTE

Best starting point: Arugam Bay
Amount of people: Normally, one truck can fit seven people.
The complete excursion lasts approximately six hours.
Driving through the park will take 3-4 hours.
In the midst of the tour, you can get out of the truck and walk up a bird viewing tower.
During the tour, you can request that the driver stops whenever you want to take a photo or simply enjoy the scenery around you.
Starting times in Arugam Bay are 5.30 am for the sunrise / morning safari and 1.30 pm for the afternoon / sunset safari.
At the entry, the driver will handle the tickets for your group. The ticket office is like a small museum, so it's worth a visit.
The only public restroom is located at the park's entrance, directly before the ticket office.
The price varies based on the number of passengers in the truck and the current currency rate (between 35 USD per person for a larger party and 55 USD per person for two people).
We recommend the tour for everyone above 2 years old. For families with younger children, the wildlife tour is a great alternative.
